Clear Transparent Self Adhesive Vinyl Labels and Stickers Printed in Spot Colours

These labels are printed with one or more spot colours on to clear vinyl.

Transparent labels and stickers should be applied to, or seen against  white, silver or light coloured surfaces.

When the label is applied to a glossy surface, the clear vinyl tends to melt away making it look as though it was printed directly on to the product

Clear labels can be applied dry to the product, but this method may trap tiny air bubbles which may show.
A better way is to apply them wet. The advantages are: they are quick to apply, easy to position and there are no air bubbles.

How to do it:
1. Mix up a solution of washing up liquid and water. Half fill a 2 litre Coke bottle with water, add a small squirt of washing up liquid and shake hard until the water goes slightly green and there are lots of bubbles at the top.
2. Pour some of this solution in a tray or plate
3. Peel off a label and dip it in to the solution
4. Apply to the product and with a squeegee, gently squeeze the excess moisture from under the label
The label will lie on the product like a wet blanket, but depending on the room drying conditions will adhere as firmly as if it had been applied dry within an hour or two.
